Souer Co. Ltd is seeking for an Electrical Project Engineer who will manage and direct the electrical design of projects for both the oil & gas industry and industrial applications. Job scope will include conceptual design, construction documentation, construction administration, and coordination for custom built generator sets, control panels, switchgear and related projects.

The Project Engineer will be a leader within our company and will manage and design projects for the firm.  This is a highly visible role requiring the ability to communicate with colleagues and clients.  

• Provide knowledge and oversight of electrical design for low voltage projects
• Co-ordinate with structural and mechanical team members for overall project design
• Prepare project quotations, concept designs and project documentation
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, task management
• Mentor engineering staff
• Interact with clients, project colleagues, customer representatives and contractors
• Provide Quality Control / Quality Assurance for electrical design documents
• Monitor project schedules and budgets and staff resources

• Degree in Engineering or Related field
• Project experience in electrical design of similar projects
• Knowledge of hazardous area installations an advantage
• Knowledge of LV power generation
• PLC and Control systems experience
• Proven ability to resolve design problems
• Effective communication skills with a team-oriented attitude
• Experience with MS office and fully conversant with CAD (Computer Assisted Design)
• Competently operate the CAD workstation installed
• Experience with oil & gas industry an advantage
