Clayton Boilers

Since its inception on October 20, 1930, Clayton Industries has established a world-wide reputation as a leading manufacturer of equipment for industrial process steam generation — both fired boilers and unfired waste heat boilers.
Their unique controlled circulation, counter-flow design offers many operational advantages and benefits over conventional boilers. Clayton Industries’ design principles and the use of the latest technology in its control systems make them the favorite choice in today’s high efficiency energy markets.
A Clayton Steam Generator is a once through, forced flow, water tube boiler utilizing a steel helical coil heat exchanger. All Clayton steam generators, both fired or unfired, contain three main components: a helical coil heat exchanger, the positive displacement feedwater pump and the mechanical steam separator. Additionally, all Claytons use the latest PLC microprocessor based control systems, servo actuated fuel control systems and are available with low NOx burners to meet the strictest emissions requirements.
Clayton equipment provides. Among the many benefits included are:
  • Reduced space requirements
  • Higher fuel efficiency
  • Rapid startup and load response
  • Lower blowdown rates
  • Higher quality steam output
  • Inherent higher level of operator safety
